SHARIA ACTION AWARENESS NETWORK – STATEMENT ON SHARIA
We are Americans who stand in opposition to Sharia — orthodox Islam’s repressive, supremacist political-military-legal system. Its goal is to destroy Western civilization in favor of a new global Caliphate that will govern Muslims and non-Muslims alike according to its principles.
Sharia is by design a complete and all-encompassing doctrine. It dictates not only the rules governing religious practice but all other aspects of life as well. It is utterly hostile to American freedoms in numerous ways, as it denies liberties that are guaranteed to us by the U.S. Constitution.
Sharia and its instrument of expansion and implementation – jihad of both the violent and stealthy kind – constitute sedition. Accordingly, we are determined to resist efforts now underway to create “parallel” Muslim societies and otherwise to insinuate Sharia into this country via its mosques, prisons, schools, media, government, courts and financial institutions.
Of particular concern is the progress being made to establish Sharia-Compliant Finance (SCF) within Western, and most recently, U.S. banks and other institutions that trade securities.
We also stand for the exclusion of foreign laws, like Sharia, that do not respect our constitutional rights, from the U.S. federal, state and local judiciary and for the use instead of American laws for the American people.
We are determined to keep America Sharia-free and call on our fellow citizens and their elected representatives to join us.
